Many Hands Make Light Work.
Get Involved
At the Young Actors Society, our community makes our work possible. Whether you give time, resources, or expertise, your involvement helps bring the magic of theatre to children who might not otherwise have access to the arts.
There are many meaningful ways to support our mission:
Volunteer Your Time
Volunteers help our productions run smoothly and create a positive experience for young performers. Opportunities include:
Assisting at rehearsals or performances
Helping with costumes, props, or sets
Supporting front-of-house during shows
Assisting with events and fundraising
If you enjoy theatre and working with youth, we would love to hear from you.
Donate Materials, Space, or Supplies
In-kind donations make a tremendous impact and help us keep our program accessible.
We welcome:
Costume pieces, fabric, and accessories
Set materials and props
Printing or design services
Rehearsal or performance space
Highschool and College Student Internships and Volunteer hours
We welcome high school and college students seeking internships or community service hours. Interns can gain experience in:
Arts education
Production support
Photography
Carpentry
Nonprofit operations
Marketing and events
It’s a great way to build skills while giving back. We are happy to fill out paperwork for volunteer hours.
